Working In White Rock
White Rock is bordered by the Bruce Highway and railway line on its western side, with Skeleton Creek and Smiths Creek forming its southern and eastern edges. It takes its name from the old White Rock railway station, which was named after a rock feature in the Lamb Range.
The suburb has grown over a long time, from suburban lots auctioned near the old railway station in 1939 to the streets around White Rock State School and Trinity Anglican School today. That means homes of all ages, from older houses to more recent builds, and I'm happy working on any of them.

Your White Rock Questions Answered
Do you clean split system aircons in White Rock?
Yes. I clean the filters, indoor coil and drain line, and remove visible mould and build up from the indoor unit. An aircon clean doesn't include refrigerant work, but if I spot a problem I'll let you know.
Can you replace my old downlights with LEDs?
Yes. LED downlights generally use less power than older halogen style lights. While I'm in the roof I also check that insulation isn't covering the fittings, as the Electrical Safety Office recommends.
Can I swap a light fitting or fan myself?
No. In Queensland, replacing a light fitting or swapping a light for a ceiling fan is electrical work and must be done by a licensed electrician.
How far is White Rock from you?
Not far at all. I live in Mount Sheridan, on the other side of the Bruce Highway, so White Rock is only a few minutes away.
